TED COSTAAs CEO, Ted directs the day-to-day operations of People's Advocate and manages its staff of three. He participates in the direct mail program which solicits memberships, conducts fundraising and informs taxpayers of current issues. He oversees the drafting and qualification of initiatives which People's Advocate sponsors. He represents People's Advocate in coalition building with other taxpayer groups. He also is in charge of PAPACs- the Political Action Committees of People's Advocate.
Ted was born in 1941 and was rasied on a farm in Sacramento and was educated at local schools and the University of California, Davis. Before joining People's Advocate, he managed over 20 political campaigns.
He is an elected member of a local water board. Ted and his wife, Jayna Karpinski, live in the city of Citrus Heights where they are active in the local community. Their hobbies include gardening, gourding and taking care of their many animals.
